WHAT IS GROUP MENTORING »

Two or more mentors meet on site at local elementary afterschool programs with a group of mentees (1:5 ratio) for one hour, once a week during the academic school year.

This “match” process is not randomized. We work to find the best group for you based on interests, preferences and the needs of the mentees on site.

“My favorite thing to learn in school is math. I’m in the STEM mentoring group and for the past couple of weeks we have been working on going to the moon…last week we made our rocket ships, so I think we are getting close to being ready!”
– Demetrius, Amachi Mentee
