WHAT IS KAMI »
The Knoxville Area Mentoring Initiative (KAMI) combines the efforts of some of our area’s strongest mentoring organizations to better serve Knoxville’s youth. KAMI is led by Knoxville Leadership Foundation through their Amachi Knoxville program, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, Boys & Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, Emerald Youth Foundation, Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians, and the YMCA of East Tennessee. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of mentoring, raise awareness of these organizations, support the growth of new mentors, and improve social support networks for participating youth and families.
